CivicCamp Action Groups

In December 2010, CivicCamp and the Calgary Public Library co-presented CivicCamp 3-D, an unconference where participants discussed the big question:  In the coming year, what do you think are the best opportunities to make Calgary a better place?

There were as many answers as there were participants and ample opportunity to start making plans within a number of CivicCamp Action Groups including Campaign Finance, CivicCampus, Financing Infrastructure, Governance, Great Public Spaces, Land-Food Connection, Open Data, Policy and Planning, Rivers and Watersheds, Senior-Friendly Development, Teen Voices Calgary, Transit, Transportation and Vibrant Urban Villages.  Click here for a brief outline of what was discussed in each of the Action Groups.

We’re actively searching out new and better tools to keep Action Group members connected with each other and to build bridges between the groups so check back often for updates on activities and initiatives.
